Description:Public health provides a broad range of services from immunizations to birth control. The costs range from low cost to free depending on the service

Lighthouse Pregnancy Center

Description:Free services for women who just found out they are pregnant, and need help making their decisions and discuss their options. They also offer support throughout pregnancy, education, and maternity and infant supplies.

Postpartum Support International:

Description:Free support services for women during the pregnancy and postpartum period experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, or any other mood disorders specific to pregnancy and postpartum

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

Description:Twice a month gathering of Moms and moms to be to share hopes, fears, and insights in a safe and welcoming environment.

Eligibility:Anyone pregnant or a mother of preschoolers

Intake Procedure: First meeting is free, if you want to become a member there is a $40 membership fee.

 

Women Infant Children (WIC)

Description:Free nutrition program providing education, nutritious food options, and breastfeeding support

Baby and Me Tobacco Free:

Description:A program to help pregnant woman stop smoking. If you remain tobacco free (verified by blowing into a carbon monoxide detector) every month for up to one year, you will get a $25.00 coupon from Wal-Mart for diapers.

Nurse Family Partnership

Description:Free nurse home visitation program for first time mom’s starting in pregnancy until the child is two years old

Prenatal Program and Healthy Communities

Description:Free program to low income pregnant women who do not qualify for Medicaid or who are on Emergency Medicaid. This program covers office visits during pregnancy.
