living journeys is hiring an executive director

Crested Butte, CO 

Full-time, Salaried position, PTO available, 50% health insurance reimbursement

Living Journeys is a 501 c3 non-profit that provides support, counseling, financial grants and events for cancer patients and their families in the Gunnison Valley.  

The Executive Director is responsible for organizing and directing events, fundraising, working closely with Board members, managing the budget and finances and client and donor relations. 

Qualifications:

Passionate, positive, empathetic individual interested in helping others

Experienced in fundraising, cultivating donor relationships, event planning, organizing volunteers, and networking with local community

At least 2 years’ experience in a non-profit organization with a budget of $300k or more

Proficient in finance and managing annual budgets 

Grant writing experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field preferred

Works well in office setting and is self-motivated
