Kathy has served as a volunteer facilitator for the Living Journeys' support groups since 2013. Norgard is a practicing psychologist in Arizona, taught for 20 years in a graduate program at AZ State University, and consults internationally. Kathy moved full-time to Crested Butte South in 2012 to be near family after her husband died.   She continues to travel to Tucson bimonthly where she facilitates groups and consults with two different treatment centers, visits family and continues involvement with several Arizona social justice action groups.

Kristin has a masters in Counseling Psychology from Regis Universtiy and is currently working towards an advanced certificate in Child and Adolescent Counseling . She has experience in working with child and adolescents in various settings, and before moving to the Gunnison Valley, she worked with The Kempe Center and Aurora Mental Health as a mental health therapist. Kristin is committed to enhancing and strengthening the emotional and social well-being of children and their families, through effective interventions and prevention services. When she is not in the office, Kristin enjoys traveling and tries fulfill her traveling need any chance she can get!

Laurie began her counseling career in 2008 when she began working as a Family Preservation Therapist for the Emily Griffith Center doing in-home family therapy. She now works privately counseling children and adults of all ages offering individual, couples, and family counseling both in her office and in client’s homes. She contracts with the county working with families involved in child welfare system with the goal of keeping children and their families together. She works with the juvenile justice system in order to help adolescents meet mandated treatment goals. She is also a facilitator for the Love and Logic parenting course. Her office is located at 125 N. Main Street, Suite A, in Gunnison.
